THE FOUNDER
I’m Misty. Traveler, curator, lifelong learner — I believe the most beautiful journeys are those shared in culture, connection, and discovery.
From the time I was a little girl working in my grandparents’ travel agency, I was captivated by the magic of exploring the world. That early love of travel has carried me through decades of professional and personal experiences — from interior design and the performing arts, to earning advanced wine certifications and teaching Pilates and yoga. Each path has shaped the way I see the world and the way I curate experiences today.
Cultured Escapes is the natural expression of these passions: a place where elegance meets authenticity, where each detail is considered, and where travel becomes transformative. My goal is to craft retreats that feel both indulgent and welcoming, blending gastronomy, design, the arts, and cultural immersion so that every journey becomes part of your story.
